Prerequisites for enrollment

10.

Subject goals and competencies:

The student will be capable of designing algorithms to extract descriptors from unstructured data types, integrating them into descriptive languages ??and designing descriptors comparison algorithms.

11.

Subject content:

This course provides the principles and ways of metadata-based descriptive and semantic enrichment of unstructured data (especially multimedia data) to make it easier to search and find them. The course will cover the following areas: descriptors extracting algorithms, adaptation of descriptors through the use of descriptive patterns (anotations), syntactic and semantic integration of descriptive in high-level descriptive languages ??(ontologies), and algorithms. Various applications of content-based indexing and search in bioinformatics, medicine, ecoinformatics, multimedia and other disciplines will be reviewed.

12.

Learning methods:
