Subject goals and competencies:


This subject has the following basic goals: - to introduce the student to the field problems and methods of operational research, Project SEO Problems and Optimal Project Management - to introduce the student to the methods and techniques of operational research related to Administrative Information Systems and Information Support Supporting Support - to introduce the student to the methods and techniques of operational research related to Strategic Information Systems and Business Intelligence Systems

Topics processed within this subject: - Introduction: Defining a problem, data collection, problem model (mathematical, Logical ...), Model solving, testing .. - Mathematical models: mathematical programming, network models and optimization, games theory, Markov`s chains, mass service systems, prediction. Simulations. - Project Management, Time Analysis (CPM/PERT), Cost Analysis, Analysis of resources - Optimizing models in management information systems and information systems for Supporting decision -making. Decision analysis, deterministic, probable models, with and without experiments - Optimizational models in strategic information systems and business systems Intelligence
