Subject goals and competencies:


After completing the course, students will be familiar with how distributed systems work and the security challenges they face. Categorization of distributed systems from the aspect of security. Possible attack types for the different categories of distributed systems. Distributed Systems Forensics.

Basic concepts of distributed systems Classes of distributed systems Threats and attacks P2P Decentralized Distributed Systems Attacks on P2P systems Coordinated resources clustering Attacks on coordinated resources clustering Dealing with attacks on distributed systems Distributed Systems Forensics Advanced topics (QKD, ….)
