Subject goals and competencies:


After completing the course, the student is expected to have an understanding of the principles and key technologies that are the basis for communications, networks and architectures of the latest and next generations that are currently under development. He will have knowledge of the technical and strategic challenges associated with ensuring the quality of service required in the integrated network platforms of the future.

Subject content:


Identification of deficiencies of older generations of wireless mobile systems that are addressed in the wireless network architecture. Main features and advantages of the last generation systems (5G). Technologies that enable the implementation of next generation systems (6G, 7G). Understanding the architecture and organization of systems. Concepts for the implementation of the core and access network. Advanced Networks and Emerging Techniques. Development of new services for the next generations of mobile networks.
