Subject goals and competencies:


The goal of the URS is to take the tutor to the research and preparation of an appropriate report, as well as the transition from ordinary application to the production of scientific and Research results. After completing the course the student is expected to - knows the organization / structure of technical and scientific reports - Knows how to use quotes and referrals in written technical documents - Knows the process of creating engineering and scientific labor, and to know the process of his publication - Knows the way of auditing/review of technical and scientific reports - understands the meaning of current applicable and scientific publications in the field - Can critically evaluate and review technical and scientific documents - can locate relevant published materials from a given area using Libraries, bibliographies, Internet search machines and other sources - to be able to prepare and present a brief overview of current published materials from a given scientific or technical area.

Quality Assessment, Review of Scientific Work, CONTRACTIVE CHRISTICS, Organizational and ethical rules, quotes and referencing rules, academic culture, Student-centered learning, anti-discrimination and equal orportunities. Viewing Intellectual Property and Law on Copy, Range and Types of Available Publications, Tools For search and indices, quoting, bibliographies and citation search. Process of Research, scientific research methods, funding sources, writing suggestions for Research (projects), assessment of research project proposals, planning Research project, selection of results for publication, structuring scientific Papers, the process of scoring scientific labor, presentation of posters and papers at conferences, publishing in academic and engineering journalists. Literature reviews, reading and summing up On relevant papers, the purpose and structure of examining, examples of pre -elaborate papers. Research philosophy.
