Born in 1976 in Shtip. She graduated in 1999 and her Master of Mathematics sciencies obtained at the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje in 2004. The PhD. title of Mathematics sciencies obtained at the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in 2008. During the education she holds many awards at international, national and regional competitions in mathematics and physics. She started working at the Institute of Informatics in the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics in Skopje in 2000, few months as a demonstrator, and in 2001 she is elected as a junior assistant. She became an assistant in 2004, and in 2008, she became an assistant professor. Her teaching commitments in the first cycle included lectures in Discrete structures 1, Discrete structures 2, Mathematics 1, Formal languages and automata, Compilers, Algorithms, Multimedia, Multimedia technologies, Algorithms and complexity, Discrete mathematics 1 and in the second cycle lectures in advanced Algorithms and Dynamic programming and optimal control. She has experience in laboratory and theoryof exercise of more then 15 different courses mostly connected with mathematics, especially statistics. Her research interest is in the field of applied mathematics, more specifically, applied probability and statistics, where my focus take place in the area of mathematical models in reliability, especially reliability of multi-state systems. She has published around 30 scientific papers, and she has more then 30 presentations on scientific conferences and workshops. She takes participations on 3 scientific projects and 3 projects for educationalimprovement. As an active member of the Informatics society, from 2001, she participated in the organization of several regional, national and international competitions of informatics for high school students. Also she was a leader on the Macedonian representation on two Balkan Olympiads of informatics. Currently she is a member in the board CSI. Marija was a member on the organizing committee of the first SEEDI Conference DIGITAL (re-)DISCOVERY of CULTURE (PHYSICALITY OF SOUL) - Playing. Digital. She is a member of the programmingcommittee of two scientific conferences and editor of one conference proceeding.

Born in Stip on 10th August 1984. He finished primary school in Radovis till 4th grade, and in Skopje till 8th grade. Finished high school in "Nikola Karev" Skopje. In 2003 he enrolled on studies in informatics at "Faculty of natural sciences and mathematics" in Skopje and finished them in 2008. The last two years of study he was accepted as laboratory teaching assistant at "Institute of Informatics" at "Faculty of natural sciences and mathematics". In 2008 he was employed as teaching assistant at "Faculty of information technologies MIT" in Skopje. In 2009 he was employed as teaching assistant at "Institute of Informatics" at "Faculty of natural sciences and mathematics" in Skopje. At the institute he participates in teaching the following courses: Data structures, Network operating systems, Security and cryptography, Wireless and mobile technologies, Software project management, Software design and architecture, Operating systems and Software requirements. Research fields of Pance Ribarski are application of security and cryptography in software engineering, with special interest in electronic voting. He also has interest in mobile technologies and ubiquitous technologies in everyday life. Pance Ribarski is author and co-author of several papers in the field of cryptography, e-security and electronic voting systems. After graduation he enrolled post-graduate studies in TEMPUS Software Engineering programme. He finished the post-graduate courses and is working on his master thesis in the field of cryptography and electronic voting. He is member of Computer society of Macedonia and is secretary of Association for Information and Communication Technologies ICT-ACT.

Факултетот за информатички науки и компјутерско инженерство (ФИНКИ) е резултат на здружувањето на двата најголеми институти од областа на информатиката и компјутерската техника во Македонија – Институтот за информатика (ИИ) при Природно-математичкиот факултет и Институтот за компјутерска техника и информатика (ИКТИ) при Факултетот за електротехника и информациски технологии.

Во дадената форма двата институти работат уште од осумдесеттите години на минатиот век. ИИ почнува да работи од далечната 1985 година како рамноправна составна целина на повторно обединетиот ПМФ под името Институт за информатика. ИКТИ потекнува од Катедрата за техничка кибернетика, која 1982 година прво прераснува во завод, а потоа и во институт.

Во овој период од скоро 30-тина години кај овие Институти се случува постојан раст во научните и техничките капацитети, како резултат на извонредните залагања на нивните членови, а во тренд со светскиот подем на информатиката. Сѐ поголемиот интерес на студентите за оваа област и сѐ поголемиот развој и можностите на двата Институти доведуваат до тоа во последните учебни години да станат најголеми институти на факултетите и да опслужуваат скоро 50% од студентите.

Во целиот период на развој, постојат голем број заемни проекти и истражувања, како на лична, така и на институционална основа. Двата институти беа во постојаната трка за што повисок квалитет на студиите, научно-истражувачката и апликативната дејност. Ваквата трка всушност резултираше со еден конечен обединувачки фактор – сѐ позначителен развој и подем на информатиката во Македонија и формирање на една исклучително силна заедница на информатички насочени наставни кадри. Од 2011 година тие и формално започнуваат да чекорат по заеднички пат како најсилна и најнапредна научно-истражувачка и образовна институција во Македонија од областите на информатиката – Факултет за информатички науки и компјутерско инженерство (ФИНКИ).

Роден е 1955 година во Скопје. Дипломирал на Електротехничкиот факултет во Скопје во 1980 година, а магистрирал на Електротехничкиот факултет во Белград во 1988 година. Докторирал на универзитетот “Св. Кирил и Методиј” во Скопје во 1989 година. На Електротехничкиот факултет во Скопје бил вработен во период од 1986 година до 1998 година во звањата: асистент (1986), доцент (1990) и вонреден професор (1995). На Институтот за компјутерска техника и информатика при Електротехничкиот факултет (кој во меѓувреме го промени називот во Факултет за електротехника и информациски технологии) е повторно вработен од 2007 година во звањето редовен професор. Во периодот 01.01.1992 – 01.06.1993 престојувал на Универзитетот на Калифорнија, Беркли. Од 1998 година е вработен на Универзитетот на Калифонија Сан Диего, прво во звањето вонреден истражувач, а од 2000 година во научното звање истражувач (еквивалентно на редовен професор). Редовен член на МАНУ е од 2007 година. Автор е на повеќе од 100 научни статии публикувани во повеќе од 20 различни списанија, од кои 22 статии се публикувани во IEEE списанија. Неговите трудови, според Science Citation Index, до 2009 година се цитирани повеќе од 4000 пати. Бил едитор на 3 книги, едитор во списанието IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems (во периодите 2002 – 2004 и 2006 – 2008), а од 2007 година е едитор во списанието Journal of the Franklin Institute. Автор е на 6 патенти одобрени во EU и USA. Бил раководител на повеќе проекти, а во 2009 година е раководител (ко-раководител) на 4 проекти финансирани од Р Македонија (фондот на МАНУ), Европска унија (FP6), САД (National Science Foundation) и Кина (Honk Kong Research Grant Council). Избран е за fellow на IEEE во 2006 година. Области на научен интерес му се: нелинеарни електрични кола и системи, динамички системи, компјутерски мрежи, комплексни мрежи, кодирање, криптографија, биоинформатика и пресметувачка биологија.

Enrollment Procedure

Application Submission:
- Submit originals of the required documents to the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE).
- The submission of documents should be done at the counter in the Student Service - FCSE on the specified dates from 09:00 to 12:00.
- Enrollment must first be done electronically on the new student enrollment system at UKIM.
Registration:
- Nostrification of previously finished education (document issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia)
- Index, student identification, and application forms provided by the faculty
- Receipt of tuition payment for the semester
- Receipt for the payment of 750 MKD for IKSA (informative, informational, cultural, and sports activities) of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje

Роден е 1981 година во Кратово. Дипломирал на Електротехничкиот факултет во Скопје во 2005 година. Магистрирал на Факултетот за електротехника и информациски технологии во Скопје во 2008 година. На Институтот за компјутерска техника и информатика при Електротехничкиот факултет во Скопје почнал да работи од 2005 година прво како демонстратор, во 2007 година e избран во звањето помлад асистент, a во 2009 во асистент. Неговите наставни обврски опфаќаат изведување вежби по предмети од областа на структурирано програмирање, објектно ориентирано програмирање, интернет програмирање, кориснички интерфејси, визуелизација и виртуелна реалност. Во рамките на досегашната научно-истражувачка работа учествувал во изработката на повеќе публикувани научно-истражувачки трудови и три поглавја во книги. Полињата на научно-истражувачки интерес вклучуваат обработка на слики и видео, извлекување на визуелни карактеристики за сликите, содржинско базирано пребарување на мултимедијални податоци, машинско учење.

Born in 1976 in Skopje. Graduated in 2003 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje. Masters studies finishes in 2006 at the Boston University, Boston, MA. In 2008 he is emplyed as Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Informatics in Skopje. In 2010 he defends his doctoral thesis "Some properties of good codes" at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. In 2011 he has been promoted to assistant professor. Dr Spasov has participated at 6 conferences and 3 international projects. He has published 8 conference papers and one paper in international journal. Subjet to scientific interest to dr. Spasov are coding theory and computer networks.

He was born in 1985 in Strumica. Graduated on the Faculty of electrical engineering and information technologies in Skopje in 2010. He is master student in the field of bioinformatics on the same faculty in 2010. During his studies he was continually awarded for his achievements. He started working on the institute for computer science and informatics on the Faculty of electrical engineering and information technologies in 2009. His work in teaching includes subjects such as Structural programming, Object-oriented programming, Introduction to Internet, Programming methodologies. Areas of his research interests are fields in machine learning and artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and bioinformatics.
