Scalefocus is organizing the MKD Student CTF Challenge (https://ctf.scalefocus.com) where you will have the chance to show off your skills, represent your faculty, and compete for amazing prizes. But who will be victorious and who will be crowned as the best flag hunter among you? 
 

What is CTF? 

Capture The Flag (CTF) is a fun and educational cybersecurity competition where participants solve a series of security-related puzzles to find hidden pieces of information called “flags”. These flags are typically strings of text, such as FLAG{example}, that can be hidden in files, code, or network traffic.   
The challenges are designed to test problem-solving, cryptography, web security, and ethical hacking skills.  

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coder, the MKD Student CTF has challenges for every skill level!

End Date: 16.12.24 

Duration: 2 weeks of non-stop problem-solving 

 

Who Can Participate? 

Participation in the Competition is restricted to students who are currently enrolled at Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Information Technologies, Skopje (FEIT), Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering, Skopje (FINKI) or Faculty Of Information And Communication Technologies, Bitola (FICT). This is your chance to showcase your skills, learn new techniques, and have fun with fellow students.

FINKI is a partner in the project NATO mutli-year science for pease project NATO SPS project G5825 – “Smart Patch for Life Support Systems  - SP4LIFE”. The project has started on 10th of March 2021 and it will end on 10th  of March 2024. Coordinator for FINKI is prof. Ana Madevska Bogdanova.

The first project Workshop will be organized 27-29 September, 2021 (ICT Innovations conference) http://ictinnovations.org/workshops

The objectives of the project are to:                         

  • develop wearable monitoring platforms with:
    • a.) sensitive respiration, heartbeat and auditory sensors based on graphene,
    • b.) ECG, SpO2  and body temperature sensor modules,
  • create a biocompatible wearable body-sensing interface hosting electronics, alarm, low-power transmission for light-weight, portable applications
  • create a software that will generate alert in real time, at the moment of critical physiological parameter changes or changes of the triage medical status according to START algorithm,
  • use Artificial Intelligence to create unsupervised software capable of real-time diagnostics and rapid countermeasures’ selection,
  • analyze existing (AS-IS) processes and consider their re-design (TO-BE processes) in organization of patient management on the site of accident with respect to wearable monitoring technology being developed,
  • create a network of young scientists training in soft and hard skills in the wearable electronics for biomedical applications.

Daniel is an entrepreneur and investor with primary focus on decentralized web technologies.
Daniel is the founder, general + managing partner of Bitfwd Capital (比特未来 - 块链资本), and serves as strategic advisor to several globally leading blockchain projects.
Daniel was selected as impact entrepreneur fellow to join the Edmund Hillary Fellowship program in partnership with the New Zealand government.
Prior to Blockchain technology ventures Daniel was involved in research and engineering roles in Quantum Computing hardware, Nanoelectronics and Biosensors.
Daniel holds an MSc degree in Nanotechnology from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, drop out from PhD in Electrical Engineering in UNSW and an alumni of the Orion Entrepreneurship program from the Business School at the University of New South Wales.
