Understanding the architecture of 16 bit microprocessors, integrated components for I/O devices and assembler programming. Comprehension of the basics of the architecture and organization of microprocessors as well as the existing techniques for their programming. Similarities and differences with microcontrollers.

After the successful completion of the course, the student will understand and be able to deploy knowledge of mobile operating systems, native mobile application programming and mobile web programming. 

The aim of the course is to provide introductory knowledge on selected topic in the field of multimedia systems. It introduces the basic concepts, design and processing of multimedia data. Students will learn and acquire a deeper understanding of the concepts and design od multimedia applications and with the provided assignments they will be trained to developed practical skills for modelling multimedia, use of content-based retrieval techniques and designing multimedia applications.
